To say that last Friday’s events were tragic, is an understatement by far.
I spent my weekend crying over the thought of what those parents must be going through.
To send you child to school and then get the news that they will never come again.
To wake up Christmas morning and realize you will not see their faces light up over Santa’s presents.
To know that they were taken for such a pointless and cruel reason.
That they died in fear and pain.
It breaks my heart and touches me in a way I cannot shake.
I also spent alot of my weekend hugging my baby, who in just a years time will be in school.
I cried tucking her into bed, so thankful she was safe and sound.
And I prayed, harder than I ever have.
There are no words I can say that most people haven’t already already felt.
RIP to the victims of this event, and prayers lifted high for some comfort to their families.
